'Blitz Build', An
Unbelievable Job Performed In One Week!
Monadnock Habitat for Humanity, under the supervision of
Project Steward, Tedd Benson of Bensonwood, has done the
impossible! With his expertise and the help of over 500
volunteers a new home was created in one week for a very
deserving family. The Oberst Family participated and watched
as their new home was constructed and made ready to move in.
On August 26th, 2007 a dedication was held at the home as
volunteers and friends had the opportunity to view their
hard work.The team captains had a chance to describe their
experience working on the build as well as thank the
volunteers who worked under their supervision.
A documentary called "The House The Heart Built", has been
created on the Alstead Blitz Build and will be shown
on Cheshire TV on October 24 at 8PM. Please go to their

That same
night prior to the documentary, Mike Haines, MHFH’s
President will be on Choices, their 7PM evening talk show.
The DVD of the Documentary will be sold for $15. Those
